Past remembered and future foretold within Numbers 33 and 34

We get a look at the past and future of Israel in Numbers 33 and 34. The past 40 years of the Israelites journeying in the wilderness is chronicled by each spot where the people camped. It is amazing to think of a few million people moving from place to place. I am amazed by the thought of coordinating so many people. Why was it important for the people to remember where they had been? I can only think of my own life and walk with God. There are moments in my life when it is absolutely necessary for me to look back and remember the journey that God is leading me on. In the same way the Israelites needed to be able to look back upon their history to remember their past and the God that they served. Read more

Passion of a young man, Joshua: Exodus 33 and 34

“Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart the tent.” Exodus 33:11 Why did Joshua not depart the tent of meeting? When Moses left the tent it states that Joshua would not depart. Is it his desire to be close to God? Did Joshua talk to God also? Is it passion to know God that motivated him? Into the unknown again through a dark night

Sandstone-SurfI am waiting for tomorrow 10 am because at that time I will know if my foot is holding together or not. I have been having a lot of fun working out and creating a healthier me. Well I have noticed more pain and swelling in my foot the last few days. I know that there is something happening to cause the pain. My heart aches right now. All I can do right now is wait upon the Lord to help me. I don’t want to be ill any more. God, heal me! Read more
