God’s faithfulness proved in fulfillment of promise: Joshua 21 and 22

I am stunned today during my time reading in Joshua chapters 21 and 22. The words seemed to come to life as I read them. It can be easy to just read through the Bible just to finish a particular book or chapter. It was encouraging to see how scripture is fulfill which God promised and proclaimed to the Israelites. God is faithful to complete all that He promises us and that is a great encouragement. The Levites receiving cities to dwell in and the tribes of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh returning home after the other tribes were at rest testifies to the faithfulness of God. Confessions of a Jane Austin addict

prideandprejudiceposterI have to admit that I have seen the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice more times than I can remember. I would imagine I have seen it well over 30 times. I bet you have not heard a guy admit that before. You might wonder why I like it so much. I really don’t know, I just do. It may be that while I was so ill it was a comfort to watch over and over. Well I don’t think I need to say anything else about my addiction. I suppose that there are worse addictions.

I am amazed that I like this book. Well I guess if I want to be completely truthful I love Jane Austin’s writing. That is one thing that you don’t hear many guys say….. Oh welll, time to go back to reading.
