The plague of the first-born: Exodus 11 and 12

Consider the weight of Exodus 12:30 when it says that not one Israelite family in Egypt was not effected by the final plague. It is amazing to think about how it would have struck fear in an already fearful nation after the previous plagues. Every family with children was effected at least once. Seeing God at work in every moment: Exodus 7 and 8

I love the reason that God hardened Pharaoh’s heart. It was for His signs and wonders to be multiplied. At first Pharaoh’s magicians were able to mimic the wonders that God did with the staff changing into a snake, the water changing to blood, and the frogs coming onto the land but when the gnats came the magician’s said that, “This is the finger of God”.
