Sing of His lovingkindness and faithfulness: Psalm 36

Do you like to listen to music? What is your favorite genre of music? Do you remember the last song you heard? Music is intertwined into our lives bringing us joy, excitement or sorrow. Remember that each of the Psalms are songs that were sung by the people of Israel expressing their relationship with God? I was reminded that the Psalms are all songs today as I read Psalm 36. “Your lovingkindness, O Lord, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; You judgements are like a great deep.” Psalm 36:5,6  These verses reminded me of the song “Your Love Oh Lord” by Third Day. Ecstatically fantabulous night with Titus

SunRiseI have to say that tonight was the best night I have had in a coffee shop ever! You might wonder who I was with, what I was drinking, and if she was single. Fortunately or unfortunately this evening didn’t involve anyone of the female persuasion. I was alone drinking mocha’s while jamming to music on my ipod at Caribou Coffee. The most exciting part of my 5 1/2 hours at the coffee shop was spent studying my Bible! I am so excited about all that God has shown me. Continue Reading…

Early morning update on music, healing, and uncertainty

Photo 124I am wide awake at 2-ish in the am and I am relaxing to some random Billboard top 100 hits from the 80s-today on my iPod. Listening to music is a great way to clear my thoughts. So on that note here is how my foot is doing…….

I saw the doctor yesterday and I found out what will be happening over the next few months. First off let me say that the Bee Gees are some interesting listening at 2:30 am….. So the doctor gave me two options / scenarios which are as follows. 1) My foot may heal as is with out any extra surgery. This is unlikely by human standards since I have already given the foot 6 months to heal. BUT I know that God is able to do it and I am waiting on Him. 2) I will have surgery and the doctor will put screws and/or a rod into the ankle to help stabilize it. Continue Reading…
