Silver trumpets heralding the Israelites journey: Numbers 9 and 10

– Numbers 10:35

The Israelites are setting out in Numbers chapter 10 to claim the land that God had promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. What an amazing site it must have been to hear the ring of a silver trumpet and then the orchestration of the multiple millions began as the Israelites set out and follow God. 003_169Hey God how are things going? You know I can finally see that you are asking me to let go of my desires for my life… I really find that difficult to do! I see things in life that I want and they seem like the best thing in the world. -BUT- I am reminded of every other time in my life that I thought there was a perfect thing that I wanted that was not so perfect after all. I need your help to let go and not desire anything but you. It feels painful to follow your will Lord but in the end it is best. Waiting for your time… -Me

Need prayer as I start a new phase of life

photoWell today is a big day for me. I am officially coming off of the pain patches that I have been on for quite a while. Please pray that my body doesn’t get too freaked out without the patch. I also am not sure what this will mean for my overall pain level. This will all be figured out over the rest of this week. So I am a little cranky to anyone. It is not intentional. Oh yeah pray for my mom and sister as they deal with me.

The Ten Commandments movie makes me wonder sometimes

73_161How is it that the people of Israel while in slavery in Egypt saw all the miracles of God and yet kept turning away. I just watched The Ten Commandments and it struck me as interesting how people who had tangible proof of God in their midst still strayed from Him. It is happening in my life every day. Into the unknown again through a dark night

Sandstone-SurfI am waiting for tomorrow 10 am because at that time I will know if my foot is holding together or not. I have been having a lot of fun working out and creating a healthier me. Well I have noticed more pain and swelling in my foot the last few days. I know that there is something happening to cause the pain. My heart aches right now.
