In Exodus 18:17-27 Jethro gives advice to Moses about how to rule the people of Israel. In Exodus 12:37 you can easily say that there were at least 2 million men, women, and children. It seems that Exodus 21 and following are laying out how to govern the people of Israel. With such a concentration of people there are bound to be disputes and crimes. I love how God’s blessings flowed because of Joseph. The attitude of Joseph is a great example to me about how to view life, work, trials, and hardship because he always sought to honor God in all he did. Can I say that I honor God in all that I do? It’s the little thing and simple things in life
It is amazing to think that the God of All Creation takes notice of me. I am so thankful for my life right now. I was standing and walking around the house earlier when I thought of how special it is to be able to easily move and do very simple things. I have finally been able to help my mom with various tasks around the house. She has been so helpful to me over the last year and a half that I really try to help and encourage her as much as I can. It will be another month and I will be able to easily travel the stairs to the basement and I will be able to live in my bedroom. Continue Reading…

What would you call a blessing? Would it be a new job, winning the lottery, getting married, having a great vacation, missing that car you almost hit, not becoming pregnant before marriage, not getting caught cheating in school….. The list could be endless. I have heard many people talk of how much a certain experience was a blessing. I will never refute anyones claim to call something a blessing. Yet life can color in a deeper shade of blessings that is beyond our deepest understanding. That greater understanding is found in the midst of our sorrow.

Awaiting God’s blessing regardless of the outcomes of life
Today was a great day. I truly know and believe that God is in control of my life. I will find out on tuesday what will be happening to my foot. I am confident that God is able to heal my foot if he chooses. I am so thankful for the peace that comes from knowing that God is able. Please be praying as I wait on God to do as He wills.
I also pray that you may also know that God is in complete control of every aspect of your life. My knowledge, passion, and faith testifies to the truth that God is able, willing, and ready to help you.

Life goes on in my rejoicing as I praise my Lord
Well I have to say that this week has been one of over flowing blessings. On the 5th I found out that I am not eligible for medicare and that one very large medical bill of mine was forgiven. On the 7th my income started to come in again and I am finally able to pay bills. And today I found out that i have been approved for an extension on my insurance!!!!!! So that has been a great blessing to me. Please share in my rejoicing! Praise the Lord for He reigns.
My desire in this life is to be used by God for His will and His purpose to bring glory to Him. I am amazed as I look upon all that God has done for me.
