What did the scene look like when Abraham went to sacrifice his son Isaac? It makes me wonder about the scene. I think it is easy for me to overlook the story as a quick event. In reality Abraham and Isaac set up the altar for the sacrifice. When Abraham bound Isaac I think is was the hardest thing he had ever been called to do. It wasn’t an automaton that went to sacrifice on the mountain. It was a loving father who I imagine cried and hurt as he followed God’s command. I wonder how Isaac felt?
