Our immovable Hope enabling yesterday, today and tomorrow: Psalm 94

Do you become discouraged when the worries of life weight down upon you despite the hope and trust you place in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation? The gift of salvation that God bestowed upon us at Calvary grants us eternal life rendering death powerless to hold sway over us and restoring fellowship between us and God but we fail to realize and embrace that this gift of salvation was given to us the moment we placed our trust in Jesus Christ not upon the threshold of death. Have you embraced this transforming and perspective altering truth that the salvation we hope in is actively working out in our lives this moment? The worries of life and the wickedness of this sin cursed world surrounding us have lost their power.

“If the Lord had not been my help, my soul would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence. If I should say, ‘My foot has slipped,’ Your lovingkindness, O Lord, will hold me up. When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.” Psalm 95:17-19  God is our immovable hope for yesterday, today and tomorrow. We can hold fast to the deliverance of God out of this world. No longer be bound and oppressed by taint of sin for the victory has been given to you.
