James 1:2-4
“Consider it all joy, my brethern, when you face trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
I am in this place right now where I feel joyful about this surgery! God is faithful to provide for me. I think that all of the tough times that I have gone through have refined me. I can’t fully explain it but I have peace even in the midst of troubled times and that is only because of the gracefully given relationship I have with Jesus Christ. I hope and pray that you will have a joyful day today just as I will have as I go into surgery. Remember what Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” What a promise that God has given! Have a blessed day.
