So i just found out that I am going to be having surgery on this upcoming Monday the 30th. I really hope it is a morning surgery because I hate being told I can’t have breakfast or lunch… that is cruel and unusual punishment. So I suppose you may wonder why I am having surgery and what is happening. Well I have ‘interesting’ feet that have been getting fixed over the last few years. Well I ended up with a sore and infection in one of my toes on my right foot so the best course of action is to amputate the toes. Now before you freak out this is a good thing. I never really use my toes for counting anyways. I will be having my last 3 toes on my right foot taken off. This would have to be done at some point in my life so I figure it is better to do it now while I am young and healthy.
I am happy and in a rather humorous mood about this. I am trying to think up new toe jokes. LOL The reason I can laugh at this is because I know that God is faithful to do what he wills. I have seen God prove His love for me time and time again and I am able to rest in that knowledge. I know that God is able to use my testimony while in the hospital and at home recovering to bring glory to him. That is the quick summary of what I just found out this afternoon.
