A desire for more in life than the here and now

Ok, I never knew that Hugh Grant could sing. The movie Music & Lyrics is a very funny movie! The movie is worth seeing just for the 80′s music video. It was a great diversion to spend the night at the theater.

And

The movie Bridge to Terabithia was a good movie but I will warn you it is not what you may expect. I would like to say more but it would spoil the plot.

On another subject….. Why do we desire unconditional love. Now the love that I speak of is not a love that a parent or friend can give. This unconditional love that I desire is the place where I can share my deepest hopes, dreams, fears, ambitions, regrets, and pain. Now I have a lot of close friends but I am sorry to tell you that as much as I love you all I don’t open up to you. Now I think that this is normal, but I think that I want to find out the answer from my married friends. When you finally found that one person you married did you find that unconditional love? It is kind of funny because it seems like this desire I have in my life is not even fulfilled in my relationship with God. But I know that God is the only one who can fulfill the need I have. It is an interesting catch 22. So yeah I guess this is what I think about when I ponder life right now. So what do you think? Am I off base in my thoughts?
