A recent person asked how do you find treasures of your heart and the passion of your soul back when it seems like you have lost them. This was a post on the BarlowGirl fan forum I have started to post on. I thought what I wrote may encourage any of you who have wondered where the passion went.
”There are times when you will find that you have lost your passion for things that you once held dear to your heart. I have been struggling with illness for the past 5 years and have faced set backs over and over. I lost my joy, hope, and all passion in life. Rabbit Trail No.1
I am sitting here wondering what to write down. But nothing comes to my mind. I am at peace with everything in my life right now. My foot seems to be holding up really well. I saw the doctor and he put a new cast on my leg and told me to start putting weight on my foot. I am confident that all will be ok right now. I think back to the times when my life was seemed to be falling apart and I didn’t know which way to go. That seems like a distant memory from today. How easily we forget what really matters. I expressed to the people all the different illnesses that I have had over the last 5 years. It was great to proclaim that God is fully in control of everything in my life. He is to be praised for all that he has done.
I read my blog titled “What’s in a foot?” out loud because I know that it is a perfect way to express everything that I have dealt with and the mindset that I have. When I read the part about my dad I started to choke up and tears ran down my face. Continue Reading…
